I Hit My Record Number of Sales in One Day

I've checked out over 100 books, podcasts, articles and blogs all related to marketing through Facebook ad campaigns and Google Ads, but nowhere do I remember learning about target advertising on blogs... yet that's where I hit my record sale of nine online orders in one day this week.

I don't even remember how I found Katie's blog but right away, I liked what I read. Here was someone, like me, who was into grinding wheat to make bread, making homemade yogurt, and finding products that were natural and healthy for the family.

I participated in a conversation about chemical-free skin care products which led to an email conversation, which led to my mailing Katie a sample, which led to Katie selling me some advertising space... and then Katie mentioned my product in a blog. At that moment she became the spokesperson who could tell of her experience with my lotion, and because of her large and growing audience, she did what Facebook advertising and Google campaigns could not do: deliver a message through a channel of trust. They trusted her, so they would give me a chance too.
